Reservation
and Rate Policy - Reservations are weekly from mid June to mid
September and are from Saturday to Saturday. Reservation periods at other times
are flexible.
- A deposit of $500/wk. is required to hold a reservation
for summer, and $200/wk. or portion of a week is required in spring and fall.
Reservations will be accepted by phone but we MUST receive a deposit within 10
calendar days for confirmation. VISA by phone is OK. If the deposit is not received
within this time the reservation will NOT be held. Receipts for deposit will be
sent, indicating the dates of the reservation as we have recorded them. Deposits
will be refunded, less a $100/wk. service fee if the reservation is cancelled
90 days in advance, or if we are successful in renting the cottage for the period
cancelled. The balance of the account is due upon the day of arrival. Payment
for the balance may be made by cash, traveller's cheque, or VISA. NO PERSONAL
CHEQUES, except for deposit.
- Pets accepted - $10/day or $45/wk.
In July and August, dogs are permitted only in cottages #4, #5, #7, #8, and #11.
Pets are never allowed in cottages #2, #6, or #10. Please advise us if you are
bringing a pet so covers can be place on the furniture. Pet charges apply to visiting
pets that enter a cottage.
- Personal watercraft (Seadoo, etc.) are not
permitted.
- All rates are subject to HST of 13%.
- During mid June to mid September, check-in time is after
3:00 p.m., and check-out time is before 9:00 a.m. These times may be flexible
during spring and fall. Please advise us of your arrival time if you expect it
will be later than 8:00 p.m.
- ALL BEDDINGS, LINENS, AND TOWELS ARE SUPPLIED.
Linens and towels and are changed weekly only.
- A limited number of cribs
and highchairs are available at no charge. Please reserve these in advance.
- Cottage rates include shared use of canoes, kayaks, and peddle boats. Package
rates and boat and motor rates include the use of boats on inland lakes, as available.
- All cottages except #1, #7, and #11 have wood stoves with glass doors
(fireplaces). Firewood is supplied for use in the fireplaces at no charge. Campfires
for cottages are shared and are allowed in only two designated locations: one
at the front of the resort, for all guests; and one at the back of the resort
for cottages #5, #6, and #9. Firewood for these fire pits is also supplied.
- Kitchens in all cottages are equipped with dishes, flatware, pots and pans,
a coffee maker, a microwave, and a full size fridge and stove.
There are books and games, but no TVs or telephones. A pay phone and coin operated
washer and dryer are provided on site.
